In Support Of
We are proud to be associated with our charity partner YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
Donations will be directed towards helping send kids to camp who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it! Every $150 helps provide an entire week of Day Camp to a child in need. Each year the YMCA provides over $2.4 million dollars in financially assisted programs and services including camp to ensure that everyone is able to participate! Day Camps are offered all across the city including Fanshawe Conservation Area where our race takes place. Your support ensures that every child can experience camp, learn to canoe, make new friends and spend time with caring responsible counsellors. Thank you for helping the YMCA build a healthy community by supporting YMCA Strong Kids!
Run one (25k) or two (50k) loops of the fabulous reservoir trail. Enjoy the beauty of the entire lake as you take many of the turns on the trail. You will encounter wide & single track sections ranging from pine chips, dirt (and mud if you are so inclined), grass, pavement and some rugged technical sections (aka roots) all while enjoying small changes in elevation. And, if you are lucky, you may just get your feet wet while at the two available water crossings.
There are aid stations approximately every 5k and at the Start/Finish.
They will feature sweet & salty snacks as well as a variety of refreshments.
In an effort to be environmentally friendly, Phoenix Trail Races is a cupless event.
Please ensure on race day you bring a collapsible cup, water waist pack, or hydration vest on your run.
We will have water and electrolyte at each aid station.
